DAVCO K11 SLURRY (also SIKA K11 SLURRY)

Davco K11 Slurry (also Sika K11 Slurry) is a two component alkali-reactive (crystallization process) waterproofing system that forms a slightly flexible waterproofing membrane capable of bridging cracks and withstand hydrostatic pressure - high resistance to positive and negative pressure. Ideal for below grade surfaces against concrete decay and water borne corrosive salts.

Uses / Area of Application
– Interior and Exterior below grade surfaces against concrete decay and waterborne corrosive salts
– In between horizontal structural slabs and toppings against hydrostatic pressure
– Seals and protects masonry walls against algae or fungus growth caused by atmospheric pollutants and moisture
– Suitable substrates: Concrete, brickwork, precast surface, lightweight blocks, etc.
– Potable water reservoir, tanks and cisterns

  • Instructions

    Product Preparation:
    • Always add Davco K11 Slurry Powder Part A to Davco K11 Bonding Agent Part B. While continuously stirring, mix for 2 – 3 minutes using a mechanical stirrer until a smooth creamy, lump – free consistency is achieved.
    • Leave to stand for several minutes until no bubbles are present in the mix.

    Application:
    • Wet the substrate prior to application. The mixed Davco K11 Slurry is then applied onto the substrate in a stifling action using blocked brush.
    • Apply a minimum of 2 coats perpendicular to one another.
    • The 2nd coat must be applied while the 1st coat is still green, but must be sufficiently set so that it is not drawn off while applying the 2nd coat.
